About the role
.fit_to_content{width:%;height:auto} Your Role: The Power Platform Engineer develops technology capabilities and services that Product teams use to build customer-facing solutions, expediting the delivery of technology-enabled value to the Business. They develop and/or configure technologies to meet technical requirements and architecture, whilst ensuring the services they build are robust, maintainable, reusable, and highly scalable. Main Responsibilities: - Configures, develops, builds, tests, and releases technology solutions and services that meet technical requirements and architectures, contributing to the creation of valuable Product increments. - Model, collate and extract data to supply reports and solutions to colleagues within the business - Develop reports, dashboards and applications using MS Power Platform Services - Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods - Support the team in looking for opportunities to use insights/datasets/code/models across other functions in the organisation - Document solution including source-to-target mappings and data dictionary. - Fulfils routine Product service requests (e.g., access provisioning, solution insights). To succeed, you will need: - Proven experience in eliciting and managing detailed business requirements. - Hands-on professional experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI, Power Automate (Cloud Flows), Power Virtual Agents, AI Builder, Dataverse, Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model Driven Apps). - Strong understanding of leveraging AI for automated document processing, data extraction from knowledge base/document libraries, using Power Platform AI Builder. - Strong understanding of low-code/no-code solutions, market trends and value proposition - Experience in integrating Power Platform with other systems using Azure integration services or other API Management platforms. - Experience in extending Power Platform using custom connectors and Power Apps Component Framework (PCF). - Knowledge of ALM, Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Automation in the context of Power Platform - Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies and practices (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) is beneficial. - Positive communication skills with an ability to build rapport with a wide range of different Business and IS stakeholders. - Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional IS team.
