The selected faculty will anchor advanced courses in AI/ML, Deep Learning, NLP, Generative AI, and Data Science while driving cutting-edge research and industry-linked innovation. As part of the vibrant uGDX School of Technology, you will mentor India's next generation of AI engineers and contribute to a research ecosystem shaped by IEEE and ACM standards of excellence. \ NSpecialisation Areas (anyone or more) \ N \n Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning \ N Deep Learning, Neural Networks & Computer Vision \ N Natural Language Processing & Large Language Models (LLMs) \ N Generative AI, Foundation Models & Responsible AI \ N Data Science, Big Data Analytics & Business Intelligence \ N Reinforcement Learning & Autonomous Systems \ N Cloud-Native AI, MLOps & AI System Design \ N Algorithms, Theory of Computation & Software Engineering \ N Cybersecurity, Privacy & Trustworthy AI \ N\nKey Responsibilities \ NTeaching & Curriculum Delivery \ N \n Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses aligned with BTech CS (AI & ML) and allied programmes.\ N Develop Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum benchmarked against industry trends and NEP 2020.\ N Conduct laboratory sessions, hands-on project workshops, hackathons, and capstone thesis supervision.\ N Integrate real-world case studies, problem-based learning, and industry-grade project methodologies.\ N\nResearch & Innovation \ N \n Conduct high-quality research and publish in Scopus, SCI, ABDC, IEEE, ACM, or UGC-CARE indexed venues.\ N File patents, develop functional prototypes, and contribute to technology commercialisation and start-up ecosystems.\ N Pursue funded research grants (DST, SERB, AICTE, DBT, industry grants) and interdisciplinary collaborations.\ N Contribute to the School's research output and citation impact.\ N\nIndustry Collaboration \ N \n Build partnerships with technology companies, startups, and national/international research organisations.\ N Facilitate student internships, live projects, industry mentorship sessions, and innovation challenges.\ N Organise workshops, conferences, bootcamps, and invited guest lectures.\ N Support the Atlas incubation ecosystem and entrepreneurship initiatives.\ N\nStudent Mentoring \ N \n Guide student research projects, competition teams, and innovation showcases.\ N Mentor students for higher studies, entrepreneurship, and career development pathways.\ N Encourage participationin national and international technical events and olympiads.\ N\nAcademic & Institutional Contribution \ N \n Participate in NAAC/NBA accreditation, curriculum review, academic planning, and quality assurance.\ N Contribute to departmental growth, institutional outreach, and strategic initiatives of uGDX School of Technology.\ N\nQualification Requirements \ NEssential \n \n Ph.D. in the relevant discipline (see above) from a recognised university/institute.\ N B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech with consistently strong academic credentials.\ N Demonstrated research output: publications, patents, or funded projects.\ N\nPreferred / Desirable \ N \n Industry / R&D experience in a relevant technology domain.\ N Strong publication, patent, or externally funded project record.\ N Experience in interdisciplinary and experiential/project-based education.\ N Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, or AI product development (strongly preferred).\ N Familiarity with AI ethics frameworks, explainability tools, and fairness-aware ML (preferred).\ N\nTechnical Skills \ NTechnical skill sets fromany of this domain: \ N AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI & LLMs \ NRobotics, ROS, ComputerVision & OpenCV \ N Python, C++, Java \nAWS, Azure, GCP, MLOps \ N Git, Docker, Kubernetes \ NIoT & Edge Computing \ NDesired Competencies \n \ N Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom delivery skills.\ N Research and innovationmindset with a track record of output.\ N Industry engagement andprofessional networking capability.\ N Ability to mentor multidisciplinary and diverse student coh .
