Full-time remote from anywhere in the India Job Overview The SAS Administrator, specializing in SAS administration will be part of the organization's Professional Services team in India, which provides implementation services, business consulting, IT services, and managed services. The ideal candidate should have expertise in SAS administration. Job Responsibilities Requirement Gathering & Analysis - Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to define detailed system requirements and specifications for hosting SAS platforms. Technical Design & Documentation - Develop comprehensive technical design documents for SAS environments, detailing architecture, deployment models, network and security configurations, and integration strategies. Installation & Configuration - Install, administer, support, and maintain SAS Enterprise software and solutions (SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Viya, etc.). Execute SAS system qualification activities including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ). Monitoring - Oversee post-deployment system health and performance tuning to address bottlenecks and ensure platform stabilization. Deployment & Go-Live Support - Manage deployment and cutover activities to production environments, and create runbooks, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Stay current on SAS offerings, emerging technologies, industry trends, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in SAS Administration, Deployment, integration Proven migration/modernization expertise, including endtoend migration of a full SAS production environment to newer releases or platforms. SAS Certified Platform Administrator (SAS 9 preferred). Understanding of AWS cloud concepts (desirable). Understanding of project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, JSM, Microsoft Project).
