About the role
As a Power BI Specialist with expertise in SQL and Snowflake, you will play a crucial role in developing dynamic and insightful dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI by integrating data from multiple sources. - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translating business needs into effective Power BI solutions. - Designing, developing, and optimizing data models for efficient data processing and reporting. - Implementing ETL processes using Power Query, SQL, and Snowflake to extract, transform, and load data into Power BI. - Performing data profiling and analysis to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. - Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning. - Enhancing Power BI reports using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M Query for advanced calculations and transformations. - Working with Snowflake for data warehousing, data transformation, and performance optimization. - Staying updated with the latest Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake best practices to improve dashboard performance and usability. - Providing training and support to end-users for effective utilization of dashboards. - Collaborating with IT and data teams to troubleshoot and resolve data or performance-related issues. - Maintaining proper documentation of dashboards, data sources, transformations, and business logic. Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake. - Experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports. - Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into effective solutions. - Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data profiling. - Knowledge of DAX and M Query for advanced calculations and transformations. - Familiarity with Snowflake for data warehousing and performance optimization. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
