Mechanical Assembly Designer & DFM Engineer Experience: 5+ Role Summar yDesign mechanical assemblies with a strong focus on manufacturability, cost, reliability, and scalability. Ensure designs align with production processes, assembly workflows, tooling, tolerances, and quality standards. Act as a bridge between product design, manufacturing, and industrialization .Key Responsibilitie sLead global ME Assembly & Fixture Design teams (20 HC) .Design assemblies optimized for manufacturing, cost, and quality .Drive improvements in OEE and First Pass Yield .Reduce design-to-process related scrap and fixture costs .Perform tolerance stack-up and GD&T analysis .Develop and standardize mechanical features and components .Create assembly specifications and support industrialization .Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, and suppliers .Ensure alignment between DFMEA and PFMEA .Support continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives .Skills & Expertis eAssembly design & DFM principles (Advanced )GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis (Advanced )CAD tools & 3D design (Advanced )Basic understanding of FEM & manufacturing processe sStrong problem-solving and execution trackin gExperience & Qualification sDegree in Mechanical Engineerin g3+ years in product/industrial/process engineerin gExperience taking at least one product to manufacturin g2+ years in project or component management role sExposure to global teams and production environment s
