As a Software Architect at Autodesk, you will be a key member of the Fusion Data and Process Management (DPM) team, responsible for designing and developing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud services for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) capabilities. Your role will involve leading the software architecture and system design, partnering with product teams to define technical roadmaps, and championing industry best practices within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the software architecture and system design of highly scalable, distributed, and resilient product capabilities - Partner closely with product teams and leadership to define strategic technical roadmap - Champion adopting industry best practices to push development standards within the team - Align technical direction with business needs, making correct compromises between short-term opportunities and long-term vision - Help to hire, mentor Engineers, and build high-performing teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience - 15+ years of experience in leading design of complex systems and hands-on development in Java, AWS, Fullstack - 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role for a large organization in designing and scaling systems - Thorough understanding of Distributed Systems concepts, Scalability, Reliability, and Security challenges - Experience in building multi-tenant SaaS architectures and an appreciation for Platform and API-first mindset At Autodesk, you will work within an inclusive culture that offers competitive salaries, generous benefits, exciting career growth opportunities, and work-life balance.
