About the role
Hardware Development: Design and develop calibration equipment, robotic fixtures, and automation systems for factory production lines. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to integrate calibration hardware seamlessly into existing workflows. Ensure calibration hardware meets safety and quality standards. Software Development: Develop software applications and control systems to automate camera calibration processes on the production line. Create user interfaces and tools for factory operators to facilitate efficient calibration. Optimize software for performance and reliability in a high-throughput environment. Systems Integration: Integrate hardware and software components to create cohesive calibration systems. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility and efficiency of integrated systems. Process Implementation: Establish and document calibration procedures for use in manufacturing settings. Train factory personnel on the use of calibration equipment and software. Continuously improve calibration processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct testing to validate the effectiveness of calibration equipment and software. Diagnose and resolve issues that arise during the calibration process on the production line. Implement corrective actions to mitigate future issues. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and process guidelines. Maintain records of calibration results and equipment maintenance.
