As an experienced Data Modeler at AuxoAI, your role is crucial in designing, standardizing, and maintaining enterprise data models across modernization initiatives to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with business objectives on cloud data platforms. You will collaborate closely with Data Architects, Engineers, and Governance teams to optimize data structures for analytics and interoperability on platforms like Snowflake, Dremio, and Databricks. Key Responsibilities: - Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models in adherence to enterprise architecture standards. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and SMEs to understand processes, data lifecycles, and key metrics driving value. - Analyze customer and product value chains to identify critical data entities and dependencies for representation in the data model. - Translate business concepts into conceptual and logical data models supporting analytical and operational needs. - Design and implement physical data models for enhanced performance and scalability. - Create semantic models facilitating business access to data through BI tools and data discovery platforms. - Ensure compliance with enterprise data standards, naming conventions, lineage tracking, and governance practices. - Collaborate with data engineers to align data pipelines with logical and physical models for consistency and accuracy. - Manage version control, lineage tracking, and change documentation for models. - Participate in data quality and governance initiatives to maintain consistent data definitions. - Establish and maintain a business glossary in collaboration with the governance team. Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - 8+ years of experience in data modeling or enterprise data architecture. - Proficiency in modeling tools like Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or SQLDBM. - Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, normalization, and schema design for modern warehouses. - Experience designing models for Snowflake, Dremio, Redshift, or Databricks environments. - Strong SQL and schema design skills with the ability to validate model implementations. - Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and business glossary tools. - Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
