System Administrator

Department : Information Technology Company : Avaan Excess Location: Hyderabad – Head Office Duration : [e.g. 3–6 Months Internship] Reporting To : System Administrator Role Overview : We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT System Admin Intern to assist our IT team in maintaining, monitoring, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience in system administration, troubleshooting, and IT operations support. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software systems. • Support in setting up user accounts, permissions, and passwords. • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues under supervision. • Assist with network maintenance — routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN. • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and update asset management records. • Help with regular data backup, antivirus updates, and system patching. • Support end-users in resolving hardware and software-related queries. • Document IT processes, incidents, and resolutions for future reference. • Participate in IT audits, security checks, and system upgrades.
