About the role
As a QA Engineer for Avadeti and Ojas Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all digital products, including websites, mobile applications, APIs, and backend services. Your key responsibilities will include: - Testing and Quality Assurance: - Execute manual testing on web and mobile platforms (Android and iOS) for functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and cross-browser/device testing. - Design, write, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans for all modules and releases. - Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Insomnia. - Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks, slow load times, memory leaks, and crashes. - Perform basic security testing including authentication, authorization, input validation, and data protection checks. - Test responsive design across devices, screen sizes, OS versions, and browsers. - Bug Management and Reporting: - Log bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, recordings, environment details, and severity levels. - Track bugs from identification to closure, including follow-ups and verification of fixes. - Maintain defect dashboards with regular quality metrics and reports. - Prioritize and triage bugs based on severity and business impact. - Process and Collaboration: - Participate in sprint planning, feature reviews, and release readiness checks. - Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues in different environments. - Build and maintain QA documentation, including checklists and onboarding guides. - Support app store submission testing as per platform guidelines. - Advocate for quality improvements in product and design discussions. - Automation (Growth Track): - Begin developing automation frameworks using Cypress (web) and Detox or Appium (mobile). - Create automated regression test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines. - Contribute to test infrastructure, including device labs, simulators, and test data management. Qualifications required: - Candidates with 0-2 years of experience in QA or software testing. - Freshers with a strong understanding of testing concepts. - Individuals with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. - Candidates interested in product quality and user experience.
