About the role
As a Junior Unity Game Programmer at Avakai Games, you will collaborate with the team to create exceptional games for mobile platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Building and releasing games with up-to-date features like IAPs, social integration, and ad integration in a live environment. - Creating, implementing, debugging, and refining gameplay features. - Proactively addressing performance and stability issues as needed. To qualify for this role, you should meet the following requirements: - 1-2 years of experience in game development. - Proficiency in developing games on Unity 3D for mobile platforms. - Previous involvement in shipping at least 1 or 2 mobile games. - Strong skills in C#, mathematics, and physics. - Knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, 3D Math, and data structures. - Expertise in Unity3D, including Unity GUI, asset bundles, materials/shaders, and deployment on mobile platforms. - Familiarity with Unity GUI, Object-Oriented Design principles, asset bundles, and C# scripting. - Experience with Unity plugins is a plus. - Ability to write reliable and efficient code for game projects. - Capability to meet fixed deadlines. - Independence in work approach. - Passion for video games.
