What Your Responsibilities Will Be You will collaborate effectively with teams in the US and India.You will drive successful project delivery through effective planning, prioritization, and resource management.You will champion best practices in software development, code reviews, testing, and deployment.You will collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.Identify and mitigate project risks.Promote innovation and process improvements.Work closely with business partners to understand business processes, goals and gapsYou will drive the planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects system improvementsUnderstand requirements, configuring the Workday Financials connectors and documenting, as neededParticipate in the change management and launch support processes of any new and modification of existing configurationFacilitate review sessions with functional owners, domain experts and end-user representativesCoordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are metAssist project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance signoffWork with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenariosResearch, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilitiesBuild maintain thorough documentation for system implementationPrimary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspectiveProvide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issuesWhat Youll Need to be Successful Workday Expertise 6+ years of experience as a Workday developer. Proficiency in Workday FinancialsMust have expertise on all modules within Workday Financials Management with the ability to configure and troubleshoot issues across all modules.Experience with Workday Extend/Built on Workday and Workday Studio, enabling and maintaining custom developments.Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack for project management and communication.Experience with Indirect Tax Software integrations. (ie Sovos, Avalara, Vertex).
