Back-end Engineer - Query / API (Karnataka)

Role - Back-end Engineer - Query / API - Deep ClickHouse - query optimization, materialized views, projections, partition pruning, ARRAY JOIN, aggregation states - Has built and operated latency-sensitive analytics APIs at scale - thinks p95/p99, not just correctness - Multi-tenant query isolation and quota patterns - Robust API design - REST and ideally GraphQL; pagination, filtering, faceting over high-cardinality data - Caching strategies - query-result, materialized, edge - Aurora/PostgreSQL for relational/transactional data alongside the OLAP store - Node.js or Go for API layers; TypeScript across the stack a plus - Active user of AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent) - Bonus: federated query systems (Trino, Presto, ClickHouse remote tables) - Bonus: ML inference serving / feature stores - Bonus: streaming, video, or observability domainRole & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile .
