Senior Data Engineer

Avigna is hiring Senior Data Engineer Our IT Delivery Center aims to build strong and sustainable solutions for customers across Europe. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the team to build, support, and drive customer innovations, bringing efficiency to business processes through effective management of cost, quality, and delivery. Experience: 8+ years Location: India Mode of work: 100% Remote Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and highperformance data engineering solutions using modern cloud and big data technologies. Build and optimize largescale data pipelines with strong focus on performance, reliability, and scalability. Perform handson coding, debugging, and tuning of data processing workflows using Python and PySpark. Implement and support data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards across data platforms. Take endtoend ownership of assigned deliverables as an individual contributor, ensuring timely and highquality outcomes. Collaborate closely with crossfunctional stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions. Proactively recommend optimized technical approaches aligned with industry best practices and organizational standards. Drive innovation by leveraging automation, AI capabilities, and modern data engineering methodologies. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system stability, scalability, and overall performance. Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong handson experience in data engineering within cloudbased environments. Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data transformation and processing. Experience working with AWS services, Databricks, Snowflake, and AIdriven solutions. Solid problemsolving skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership. Excellent communication skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
