Job Description Role : FPGA O-RAN Fronthaul Senior Engineer Position : FPGA O-RAN Fronthaul Senior Engineer Experience : 5-15 Years Location : Bangalore (Hybrid/Work from Office as per business requirement) Role Overview We are looking for an experienced FPGA O-RAN Fronthaul Senior Engineer with strong expertise in FPGA design and development for wireless/RAN products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in FPGA logic design, digital signal processing, and O-RAN Fronthaul interface implementation. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement FPGA-based solutions for wireless communication and RAN products. Develop RTL design using Verilog/VHDL for high-performance FPGA applications. Work on O-RAN Fronthaul (FH), FlexRAN, CPRI/eCPRI, and Ethernet interface implementations. Perform FPGA simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and timing closure using industry-standard tools. Design and implement DSP algorithms for radio applications within FPGA. Work closely with system architects, hardware, and software teams to define and implement design specifications. Debug and optimize FPGA designs for performance, power, and area efficiency. Support system integration, validation, and troubleshooting activities. Required Skills & Experience 5-15 years of experience in FPGA design and development in a commercial product environment. Strong expertise in digital design concepts and hands-on coding experience in Verilog/VHDL. Experience with FPGA development tools such as ModelSim, Vivado, and Quartus for simulation, synthesis, and timing closure. Hands-on experience in developing and implementing DSP designs for radio applications within FPGA. Strong understanding of wireless/RAN protocols and Fronthaul interfaces. Good knowledge of CPRI/eCPRI and Ethernet interfaces. Understanding Of Signal Processing Blocks Such As Channel Filters DUC/DDC CFR/DPD AGC FFT/IFFT PRACH, PDSCH, PUSCH Beamforming concepts Mandatory experience in O-RAN/CPRI interface design and implementation. Preferred Qualifications Experience in telecom/wireless infrastructure products. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration skills.
