About the role
Job Summary :We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ServiceNow application development, ITSM modules, workflow automation, integrations, and platform customization. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that enhance IT service management and business operations.Key Responsibilities :ServiceNow Development :- Design, develop, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform.- Configure and maintain forms, tables, workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and ACLs.- Develop reusable components and implement platform best practices.- Customize the ServiceNow user interface to improve user experience.ITSM Implementation :- Develop and enhance ServiceNow ITSM modules, including :1. Incident Management2. Problem Management3. Change Management4. Request Management5. Knowledge Management6. Service Catalog- Configure SLAs, notifications, approvals, and automation workflows.Workflow Automation & Integrations :- Build and maintain Flow Designer workflows and business process automation.- Develop REST and SOAP API integrations with enterprise applications.- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Jira, SAP, monitoring tools, and cloud platforms.- Create inbound and outbound integrations using IntegrationHub and MID Server where required.Platform Maintenance & Support :- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks.- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.- Support platform upgrades, patch implementations, and release management activities.- Ensure platform stability, security, and optimal performance.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :- Work closely with business users to gather and analyze requirements.- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Administrators, QA teams, and Project Managers throughout the development lifecycle.- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.- Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and deployment documentation.Required Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 3 - 8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.- Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Flow Designer.- Hands-on experience implementing and customizing ServiceNow ITSM modules.- Experience developing REST/SOAP integrations and working with IntegrationHub.- Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices.- Experience with Agile development methodologies.- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
