Job Title: Manual Test Engineer Experience: 05 Years Salary: 3.514 LPA Job Type: Full-Time Locations: Bangalore, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Delhi, Kolkata Manual Test Engineer Job Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web, mobile, and desktop applications to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role is ideal for freshers and experienced professionals with a passion for software testing, bug identification, and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities - Analyze business and functional requirements. - Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. - Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing. - Identify, document, track, and verify software defects. - Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts. - Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing. - Ensure applications meet functional and usability requirements. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives. - Prepare testing reports and maintain QA documentation. - Suggest improvements to testing processes and product quality. Required Skills - Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications. - Ability to write effective test cases and bug reports. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla. - Knowledge of SQL for database validation is an added advantage. - Basic understanding of API testing using Postman is a plus. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Solid verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
