We help healthcare providers grow their visibility, reputation, and patient reach through a modern, technology-first platform. About the Role We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead a small engineering team and take direct ownership of Awriri's technical direction alongside our CTO. This is a hands-on leadership role you'll be writing code, reviewing code, architecting systems, and shaping product decisions, not just managing a backlog. Until we bring on a dedicated Product Manager and Product Owner, you'll also carry those responsibilities: turning priorities into a explicit roadmap, defining requirements, and keeping the team focused on what matters most. We're looking for someone who moves fast, takes initiative, brings ideas, and gets them implemented not someone who waits to be told what to build next. You'll lead a team of 34 engineers (currently including two of our own graduate Technology Associates who've grown with the company) and report directly to the CTO. What You'll Do Technical Leadership - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 34 engineers, including day-to-day technical guidance and code review. - Own architecture and technical decision-making across the full stack, in partnership with the CTO. - Set engineering standards and practices for a fast-moving, remote-first team. Hands-On Engineering - Build and ship production features across our Node.js/TypeScript backend and supporting services. - Design and maintain scalable APIs, data models, and integrations (Prisma, PostgreSQL, Redis, Socket.io). - Own AWS infrastructure, including provisioning and infrastructure-as-code via Terraform. - Design and implement agentic AI workflows, and integrate LLMs/VLMs into production features. Product & Delivery (until PM/PO hires are made) - Translate business priorities into a clear, actionable roadmap for the engineering team. - Define requirements, scope features, and make prioritization calls in a fast-changing environment. - Drive delivery end-to-end from idea to shipped, working product. What We're Looking For - 710 years of professional full stack engineering experience. - Proven experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team (3+ engineers). - Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Express, and TypeScript in production. - Solid experience with AWS hands-on with core services and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform). - Practical experience with AI/ML in production building agentic AI workflows and integrating LLMs/VLMs. - Working proficiency in Python, in addition to JavaScript/TypeScript. - Experience working in fast-paced startup environments comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and wearing multiple hats. - A bias toward action: someone who proposes ideas and implements them quickly, rather than waiting for direction. - Strong written and verbal communication you'll need to work async, across time zones, with a remote team.
