Software Product Manager

Axiom Consulting is looking for articulate, engineers with a passion and talent for Software engineering to join their Products Initiatives team in Bangalore. As a Software Product Manager , you will be responsible for Product Development from inception to taking it to market problem understanding,Participate in solution strategy development and architecting,Driving meaningful outcomes,Testing for compliance and deploying solutions.The ability to work with a cross-functional development team in an agile environment to drive taking solutions, software, or services to market Were looking for T-shaped people who balance their deep understanding of their chosen domain with broad interests and abilities that go beyond their core competencies; In addition to being great at what you do, youve got to be a bit of a Jack (or Jane) of all trades to enjoy working with Axiom. This also implies a certain social cowboy (or cowgirl) attitude- you love feeding off team energy but are quite capable of riding solo when needed. Skill-wise, heres what were looking for- Track record of taking software product or solutions to marketHands on understanding of managing product programs across various platformsProduct management from incubation stage to taking the product to market with a demonstrated decision making ability in tough situations Dynamic product roadmap management throughout the product programAbility to collaborate with sales , marketing , finance , admin teams for maximum resultsDrive Products cultureHigh level of employee engagement to bring to focus the company strategy and product vision at all times Tools-wise, you need to have- Management to product programs with sound software engineering principles -> waterfall, agileExpert level knowledge of managing software solutions using .NET, Java, Android, IOS is also a mustClear ability to effectively influence cross-functional teams without formal authority A formal education in engineering along with an MBA is desirable (in fact a degree from a reputed institute could be a good start), but were really looking for proven experience and expertise so dont feel shy to apply if youre a self-made programmer as long as youve got what it takes.
