Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SDE 2 role focused on Node.js development, based in Gurugram. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable back-end services and APIs that power Axionix products and client solutions. Responsibilities include writing clean, testable code in Node.js, participating in architectural discussions, reviewing peer code, and optimizing application performance and reliability. The SDE 2 will collaborate closely with product managers, front-end engineers, and QA teams to deliver features on schedule, resolve production issues, and continuously improve system design and development practices. The role also includes contributing to documentation, following secure coding standards, and mentoring junior developers where needed. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.Proficiency in Back-End Web Development with Node.js and related frameworks, including RESTful API design and integration.Hands-on Software Development experience across the SDLC, including debugging, testing, and deployment in production environments.Solid Programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with modern development tools and practices.Applied Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills and understanding of design patterns and best practices.Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, and message queues is highly beneficial.Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, preferably from a Tier 1 institution, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, communicate clearly, and take ownership of deliverables.
