Team Member- Infra Lead

Job Title: Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Infrastructure Management Role Overview: The AVP of Infrastructure Management is responsible for leading and managing the organization s infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and efficiency. This role involves overseeing assets, servers, network operations, information security, business continuity planning (BCP), and cloud management. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization s infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and data centers. Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure components. Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and enhancements. Asset Management: Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures. Track and manage hardware and software assets, including procurement, deployment, and retirement. Maintain accurate records of assets, licenses, and warranties. Server Management: Manage server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers. Monitor server health, capacity, and performance. Implement security patches, updates, and backups. Network Management: Oversee network architecture, design, and operations. Ensure network availability, security, and performance in all branches . Information Security: Work closely with the information security team to implement security controls and policies. Monitor security incidents, conduct risk assessments, and address vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Develop and maintain BCP strategies and plans. Coordinate disaster recovery efforts and ensure timely restoration of services. Conduct regular BCP drills and exercises. Cloud Management: Define and execute the organization s cloud strategy. Evaluate, select, and manage cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Optimize cloud resources, monitor costs, and ensure security and compliance. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure effective delivery of infrastructure services. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts. Team Leadership: Lead a team of infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
