We are looking for a highly skilled Stress Engineer with experience in aircraft seating systems to join our aerospace engineering team. This role focuses on the structural analysis, validation, and certification of aircraft passenger seats and cabin monuments related interior components, ensuring safety, performance, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed structural analysis (static, dynamic, fatigue) of aircraft interiors using hand calculations, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and industry tools. Develop and validate FEA models using software such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, HYPERMESH. Ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations (FAR/CS 25) and support certification activities including preparation of stress reports and substantiation documentation. Analyze load paths and stress distributions for seat structures under crash, static, and dynamic loading conditions. Review and approve engineering drawings and changes for structural integrity and regulatory compliance. Expertise in Aircraft interiors stress analysis of monuments. Hands on experience on honeycomb composite static structure stress analysis Expertise in substantiation analysis of composite sandwich panel bonded structural analysis Provide technical support for production and in-service issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in seat design for weight reduction, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
