About the role
JUNIOR ARCHITECT (FRESHER) Position Junior Architect (Fresher) Qualification B.Arch (Fresher) or Diploma in Architecture Reporting To Head of Design & Construction Location Head Office Global Foyer Mall, Gurgaon, with occasional site visits to Kasauli, Solan, and other project locations Experience 01 year. Freshers welcome ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a fresher architect to join the Design & Construction team and assist with day-to-day drawing, drafting, and design support work. Some of our projects are on hilly sites in Himachal Pradesh, so the role also requires working knowledge of Google Earth/KML files and basic comfort with site maps and survey drawings. We are looking for someone sincere, willing to learn, and comfortable with basic design software. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist senior architects in preparing drawings plans, elevations, sections in AutoCAD. - Help prepare easy 3D models/massing in SketchUp for design presentations. - Support day-to-day drafting changes, revisions, and corrections as directed. - Assist in preparing presentation sheets and basic renders for client/management meetings. - Help organize and maintain project drawings and files in an orderly manner. - Open, view, and mark up site maps and KML files in Google Earth for project sites. - Assist with basic site measurements and documentation during site visits. - Provide general support to the design team as needed on live projects. SKILLS EXPECTED - Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting) this is the main requirement. - Basic knowledge of SketchUp (or willingness to learn it quickly). - Basic computer skills MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Working knowledge of Google Earth and KML files this is a must. - Basic understanding of architectural drawings from college coursework/internship. - Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits. - Good attitude, sincerity, and willingness to learn more important than existing expertise. WHO SHOULD APPLY Any fresher architect (B.Arch) or Diploma in Architecture holder who is comfortable with AutoCAD and Google Earth/KML files, and is keen to learn on the job, can apply.
