About the role
A Food Processing Engineer designs, optimizes, and scales food manufacturing systems . They develop processing equipment, ensure regulatory compliance with food safety standards, and improve the efficiency, sustainability, and quality of food production lines Key Responsibilities Process Optimization: Design, modify, and improve food manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and lower production costs. Equipment Design: Develop or oversee the installation and calibration of food processing machinery and refrigeration systems. Quality & Safety: Ensure all production lines and packaged goods comply with local and international food safety regulations. Research & Development: Scale up new food technology and recipes from laboratory tests to large-scale commercial production. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical or mechanical issues that arise during daily operations. Sustainability: Implement eco-friendly practices to reduce water usage, energy consumption, and environmental footprint
