About the role
A Quality Assurance (QA) professional ensures that products or services consistently meet established quality, reliability, and performance standards . Their main responsibilities include developing testing strategies, inspecting products for defects, executing test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues before the final release Key Responsibilities Test Planning & Execution: Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, and test cases tailored to the product. [1, 2] Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and track bugs, manufacturing defects, or process errors using specialized management software (e.g., Jira, Rally). [1, 2] Process Improvement: Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to streamline production or development workflows. [1, 2] Compliance & Auditing: Ensure products meet industry regulatory requirements, such as ISO standards, GMP, or other necessary benchmarks.
