About the role
Job Summary We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks for our enterprise storage solutions. You will combine front-end testing expertise using Python with a deep understanding of storage technologies (SAN/NAS/Protocols) to ensure high product quality. Key ResponsibilitiesFramework Development & UI Automation - Design, build, and maintain scalable UI test automation frameworks from scratch using Python and Playwright or Selenium. - Create robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts for complex web-based management consoles. - Integrate UI test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab) for continuous testing. - Optimize test execution speed, reliability, and reduce flaky tests. - Storage & Infrastructure Validation - Validate storage management workflows including provisioning, replication, snapshots, and clustering. - Interact with storage backends, REST APIs, and CLI interfaces to verify data consistency against UI states. - Set up, configure, and maintain physical or virtual storage test environments (SAN, NAS, Object Storage). Required QualificationsCore Technical Skills - Programming: 4+ years of qualified experience with advanced Python. - UI Automation: Hands-on expertise with Playwright or Selenium WebDriver. - Storage Domain: Strong knowledge of storage architectures and protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, FC, NVMe). - API Testing: Proficient in API testing using Python libraries (e.g., requests, pytest). - Linux/Unix: Advanced Linux administration skills, shell scripting, and log analysis. Education & Experience - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - 5+ years of total experience in Software Development in Test (SDET) or QA Automation. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Python testing frameworks like pytest or Robot Framework. - Hands-on experience with virtualization and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware ESXi). - Familiarity with Cloud Storage services (AWS S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage). .
