Business Intelligence Administrator

Role:Responsible to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of the Domo cloud-based business intelligence platform. The role involves managing user access, data connectors, ETL processes, data governance, and training end-users to maximize the utilization of Domo dashboards and data apps.Key Responsibilities:Platform Administration: Manage the Domo instance, including setting up new data connectors, monitoring data updates, and maintaining data quality.Data Integration & ETL: Build, manage, and optimize Magic ETL flows and MySQL Data Flow to clean, transform, and join data.User & Security Management: Manage user licenses, provisioning, and access rights (PDP - Personal Data Permissions) for specific pages, groups, and data sets.Content Governance: Audit and manage content, including archiving stale cards/dashboards, creating, and maintaining documentation (SOPs).Performance Optimization: Monitor and tune dashboard performance and data processing to ensure high availability.Technical Support & Training: Provide support and training to end-users to enhance data literacy.Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for any changes, optimization & updates.System Alerts: Configure automated alerts in Domo to notify stakeholders of critical data changes or performance issues.Proactive Monitoring: Monitor integrations, ETL, and ensure source data is updated as per the schedule.Educational Qualifications:Graduate in Computer Science. Certification in BI (preferred).Experience:3+ years in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering, with specific hands-on experience as a Domo Administrator.Competencies:Strong SQL skills, particularly MySQL syntax, for data manipulation within Data Flow.Understanding of data security best practices and content governance.
