About the role
· Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs. · Create interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, spotfire). · Customize and format reports to meet user expectations and provide actionable insights. · Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions to ensure fast query response times. · Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks · Implement security measures to protect sensitive data. · Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and solutions. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align BI solutions with business goals. · Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders. · Perform testing and patching of existing solutions systems. · Manages the Power BI tenant, Premium capacities, environment and architecture including Enterprise gateway · Coordinates with M365 admin to obtain certain auditing capabilities. · Coordinates with Azure admin regarding Azure Active Directory (AAD) · User access management for Workspace, Reports, RLS, and Apps and Licenses Assignment · Monitors user activities and usage patterns using Audit Log and suggest improvements. · Monitors service status for outages. · Administering and managing the on-premises gateway server including patching and supporting custom connectors · Design and deployment of PowerBI Production Apps, workspaces, Gateway connections and Dashboard · Establish Gateway connection to on-premises data sources & Monitor PowerBi import Loads. · Maintaining and updating Tenant Settings, and Installation of organization Visuals
· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related post-secondary degree. · 5-10 years’ experience in business intelligence development, data analysis, and reporting. · Proficiency in BI tools like Power BI, Spotfire, SAP Business Object or similar. · Experience with Microsoft Azure, and SQL data warehouse or other data warehouses such as SAP BW or Exadata · Certifications: Certification in Analytic tool is a bonus · 5-10 years’ experience administrating of Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI Cloud, Spotfire, SAP BO) · Able to communicate effectively with user and collect and document users’ requirements. · Experience with Azure AD and O365 admin · Experience working with data warehouse/databases ( SQL data warehouse or other data warehouses such as SAP BW/Hana or Exadata ) · Certification in related field
