Senior Integration Engineer

Integration Engineer — ESB & Payments (5–8 years) Location: [Onsite/Remote/Hybrid] Experience: 5–8 years Travel: Willingness to travel (as required) Role Summary: Hands‑on Integration Engineer to design, build and support middleware/ESB solutions (Bhoomi, MuleSoft or equivalent). Work on API integrations, payment gateway connections, data mapping/transformation, and production support while collaborating with architects, devops and client teams.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain ESB flows/connectors, transformers and mediation logic on platforms like Bhoomi or MuleSoft. Implement integrations with payment gateways/PSPs (authorization, capture, refunds, reconciliation, chargebacks). Author API contracts (OpenAPI/Swagger), implement REST/SOAP endpoints, and ensure JSON/XML schema compliance. Create data mappings, XSLT or transformation scripts, and perform payload validation and error handling. Build and run unit/integration tests for integration artifacts; support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; perform RCA and implement fixes/optimizations. Produce and maintain integration documentation: sequence diagrams, interface specs, runbooks and operational guides. Ensure security controls for integrations (TLS, OAuth2/JWT, encryption) and follow PCI-related guidance for payments. Collaborate with stakeholders, participate in requirement workshops, demos and knowledge transfers. Support monitoring, logging and ing for integration flows. Nice-to-have: Experience with cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes. Certifications: MuleSoft Developer/Integration or vendor-specific ESB certs. Knowledge of payment processors (Stripe, Adyen, PayU) and banking integrations. Familiarity with API management platforms and developer portals.
