Service Engineer (Integrations & Backend)

As a Service Engineer for Studio Operations Platform Implementation , you will build the high-performance bridges connecting global product data (Akeneo) to our studio engine (Creative Force) and enterprise DAM. We are looking for "AI-First" developers—engineers who utilize modern AI tools ( Cursor, Qodo, Gemini ) to accelerate development, automate documentation, and ensure rigorous code quality. Your mission is to establish the Golden Thread of metadata with 10x the efficiency of traditional development workflows. Key Responsibilities ● AI-Accelerated Development: Utilize AI-integrated IDEs (e.g., Cursor) and LLMs to rapidly prototype, generate boilerplate, and refactor Java/Spring Boot microservices. ● Integration Development: Design, develop, and deploy robust Java/Spring Boot microservices that facilitate real-time data exchange between Akeneo (PIM) , Creative Force , and AEM (DAM) . ● API Orchestration: Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs to handle high-volume product deltas, ensuring data integrity across the "Golden Thread." ● Custom Feature Engineering: Develop "missing features" within our middleware layer—such as custom metadata transformation logic, automated rights management triggers, and enhanced reporting bridges. ● Automated Quality & Review: Use AI tools to generate comprehensive unit tests, perform initial code reviews for security vulnerabilities, and ensure adherence to AEO’s coding standards. ● Self-Documenting Architecture: Leverage AI to maintain live, high-quality documentation (ReadMe, Javadoc, API Specs) as the codebase evolves, ensuring the system is never a "black box.” ● Technical Governance: Collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams to ensure your services are highly available, scalable, and monitored via proactive ing.

Location: Hyderabad

Technical Requirements ● Core Java: Deep expertise in Java 21+ and a mastery of the Spring Boot 3.x + ecosystem. ● Microservices Architecture: Proven experience building decoupled, event-driven services (experience with Google Pubsub , Kafka , or similar is a plus). ● API Mastery: Strong experience with RESTful API design , OAuth2 security, and working with complex vendor APIs (Webhooks, JSON/XML payloads). ● Data Layer: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle) with a focus on schema optimization. ● Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with Git , Docker, Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines . ● Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. ● Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ● 5-7+ years of professional experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on microservices. ● Prior experience in PIM (Akeneo) , DAM (AEM Assets) , or Studio Operations software is a major advantage.
