Software Developer - Power BI

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science / IT) / MCA / M.Sc. (IT) or equivalent. Real-time Dashboard with departmental KPIs. District-wise and scheme-wise analytical reports. Performance tracking dashboards. Drill-down and drill-through enabled interactive reports. Secure role-based access dashboards. The candidate must have strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, data transformation, and integration of multiple data sources. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for CM Dashboard. Develop data models using star and snowflake schema. Create complex DAX measures and calculated columns. Perform data transformation using Power Query (M Language). Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, APIs, Excel, cloud platforms, etc.). Optimize report performance and data refresh schedules. Implement row-level security (RLS) based on user roles (State/District/Department level). Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements. Ensure data accuracy, validation, and consistency. Coordinate with backend/API teams for data pipeline requirements. Support live deployment, UAT, and post-go-live issue resolution. Maintain documentation for dashboards, data models, and workflows. Skill: Strong expertise in: Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) Power Query (M) Data Modeling Experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, views). Understanding of ETL processes. Experience in performance tuning and optimization. Knowledge of REST APIs data integration. Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
