Associate, Reporting & Analytics

Role Overview: As a Reporting & Analytics Associate at Bain & Company, you will be based in the GBS Gurugram office, working as part of a team that provides business intelligence support on key metrics to global functions within Bain. Your major responsibilities will include supporting recurring and ad-hoc analytics on key metrics as required by leadership. You will utilize automated data processing and visualization tools to build new workflows and dashboards using tools like Alteryx and Tableau, refresh and maintain dashboards on Tableau, and develop expertise on key Bain data sources to deliver effective output. Key Responsibilities: - Apply and build technical expertise in Data Visualization and Data Analysis (EDA) tools like Alteryx, Tableau, etc. - Build new workflows and dashboards using Alteryx and Tableau respectively - Refresh and maintain dashboards on Tableau, optimizing Alteryx workflow - Develop expertise on key Bain data sources to deliver effective output - Use a structured approach to frame problems, manage work, and define next steps - Use logic and reasoning to assess strengths and weaknesses of alternative data analytics approaches to drive output in day-to-day work - Work directly with global stakeholders, demonstrating effective communication - Translate user requirements into required output - Perform recurring tasks independently - Prioritize projects, manage multiple competing priorities, and drive projects to completion under tight deadlines - Experience with other BI Tools and demonstrate capacity to understand and/or adopt/learn new tools Qualifications Required: - First-class undergraduate/postgraduate from leading and reputed colleges with a concentration in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Business Analytics, or Market Research strongly preferred - 2-4 years (graduates) or 0-2 years (post-graduates) of relevant experience working with large, multi-dimensional data sets and developing different types of visualizations - Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint required along with working knowledge of data analytics software such as Alteryx, Tableau, etc., as well as passion for automation of processes/reporting using these tools - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Role Overview: As a Reporting & Analytics Associate at Bain & Company, you will be based in the GBS Gurugram office, working as part of a team that provides business intelligence support on key metrics to global functions within Bain.
