About the role
Job Purpose The role bridges product, platform engineering, AI, and business stakeholders, providing execution governance, delivery visibility, and risk managementwhile respecting the realities of AI driven, platform scale development (not traditional waterfall project management). Duties and Responsibilities Delivery Governance Execution Tracking (Primary) Establish and run delivery governance across: Platform modules Product releases Cross team initiatives Track: Milestones Dependencies Risks Slippages Ensure commitments made to business are realistic, tracked, and met. Focus is on outcomes and predictability, not micromanaging engineers. Platform Aware Planning Cadence Drive quarterly and monthly delivery planning aligned to: Product roadmap Platform capability evolution Maintain: Integrated delivery plans (multi team) Release calendars Environment readiness (dev/test/prod) Understand platform constraints: Shared services Backward compatibility Multi tenant impact Stakeholder Communication Visibility Act as the single source of truth for delivery status. Prepare: Leadership dashboards Exec updates Risk and dependency views Translate technical delivery signals into business understandable insights. Proactively flag: Scope creep Delivery risks Capacity constraints Risk, Dependency Change Management Identify and manage: Cross team dependencies Vendor dependencies (telephony, AI services) Track and mitigate: Regulatory risks Production readiness risks Ensure controlled handling of: Scope changes Priority shifts Emergency fixes vs roadmap work Release Readiness Governance Coordinate release readiness across: Engineering Product Management Product Support QA Platform Operations Ensure: Go live checklists are met Rollback plans exist Release notes are accurate Track post release stabilization and closure. Process, Metrics Continuous Improvement Define and track delivery metrics: Predictability Throughput Release stability Improve ways of working without adding bureaucracy. Help teams mature from: Ad hoc delivery platform grade execution Key Decisions / Dimensions Delivery sequencing and prioritization (with leadership input). Risk escalation timing and approach. Release readiness and dependency resolution paths. Process improvements vs delivery urgency trade offs. Major Challenges Managing delivery across AI heavy, evolving architectures. Balancing speed with enterprise compliance and reliability. Coordinating teams with different cadences (UI, Platform, AI). Maintaining clarity during ambiguity and change. Required Qualifications and Experience ducational Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technology, or Management. Experience 610+ years in PMO / Program Management roles. Experience working with: Product engineering teams Platform or SaaS products Exposure to AI / data / platform programs strongly preferred. Experience in regulated or enterprise environments is a plus. Core Skills Strong delivery planning and tracking skills. Excellent stakeholder communication. Ability to understand technical dependencies without being hands on. Experience with Agile / hybrid delivery models. Strong risk and issue management capability. Mindset Behavioral Skills Platform aware, not task oriented. Outcome focused, not process heavy. Comfortable operating under ambiguity. High ownership and escalation judgment.
