Position Description : We are seeking an experienced Hardware Developer responsible for designing, testing, and validating electronic hardware used in our agricultural machinery and IoT devices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in circuit design, PCB layout, embedded hardware testing, and component selection. Firmware knowledge is an added advantage and will help in better hardwaresoftware integration during product development. Designation : Hardware Developer Responsibilities & Duties : 1. Hardware Design & Development Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for production-grade devices. Develop schematics, component selection, and complete BOM preparation. Design PCB layouts (2-layer & 4-layer), ensuring proper routing, grounding, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations. Work with sensors, power circuits, motor drivers, microcontrollers, communication modules (GSM/4G/Lora/NB-IoT), and battery-powered systems. Debug hardware issues using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other lab tools. 2. Prototype & Production Support Create and test prototypes for new product concepts Work closely with manufacturing teams for DFM/DFT improvements Support field trials, troubleshooting, and optimization for production readiness. Document hardware design, testing results, and version updates. 3. Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical teams for seamless integration. Provide technical insights during product requirement definitions. Work with suppliers, PCB manufacturers, and component vendors to ensure quality and availability . Preferred Skills Strong Analog Circuit Design skills including: Op-amp circuits ADC interfacing Sensor conditioning Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost converters LDO selection & stability analysis SMPS design (DC-DC switching topologies) Basic firmware knowledge (C/C++, microcontroller interfacing). Hands-on experience with ESP32, STM32, PIC, AVR, or ARM-based microcontrollers. Experience implementing serial communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, RS485). Experience with EMI/EMC design guidelines and compliance testing. Experience working on IoT, industrial electronics, Agri-tech, or automotive-grade electronics. Experience implementing IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, TCP/IP Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a hardware engineer/developer. Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design (analog & digital). Expertise in PCB layout design using EasyEDA/Altium/KiCAD or similar tools. Good understanding of power electronics, DC-DC converters, battery charging circuits, and protection circuits. Knowledge of sensors, actuators, RF modules, and embedded interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, RS485). Strong debugging and testing skills using lab instruments Experience preparing schematics, Gerber files, and hardware documentation. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
