About the role
As a Data Modeller at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape by driving innovation and excellence. You will work with a team of developers to deliver technology stack, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand business requirements and deliver quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate requirements into clear data modelling specifications. - Design and implement high-quality data models that optimize data access, storage, and analysis, ensuring alignment to BCDM. - Create comprehensive documentation of data models, including entity relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, and usage guidelines. - Collaborate with data engineers to test and validate data models. - Obtain sign-off from DPL, DPA, and Technical Product Lead on logical and physical data models. - Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of models and data solutions to ensure efficient data retrieval & processing. Qualifications Required: - Experience in designing and implementing data models. - Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Proficiency in creating documentation for data models. - Collaboration skills with data engineers for testing and validation. This role is based out of Pune. The purpose of this role is to enable data-driven strategic and operational decision-making through extracting actionable insights from large datasets, performing statistical and advanced analytics, and presenting findings through clear visualizations and reports.
