Data Warehouse Developer - Manager

Role Overview: You will be part of a Data Warehousing focused team responsible for delivering Data and Client reporting across Barclaycard Payments. Your role will involve building, maintaining, and enhancing core business data entities using SQL warehousing tools and SAS. You will work in a collaborative environment where best practices, optimization, and the latest data warehouse techniques are shared across teams and geographies to drive continuous improvements in warehousing solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Use SQL warehousing tools and SAS to build, maintain, and enhance core business data marts. - Ensure adherence to reported Service Level Agreements (SLA's) by applying best practices. - Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to identify new data requirements, design, execute, and test across the Barclaycard Payments business. Qualifications Required: - Minimum years of Big Data (Hadoop) Warehousing experience including advanced Impala SQL and SAS coding skills (data steps, SQL, macros). - Proficient in Stakeholder Management and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. - Ability to translate business requirements into detailed, production-level technical specifications. - Proven problem solver with experience in resolving complex data issues.
