Working Flexibly Hybrid Working Structured hybrid role Introduction: This role is to be a senior network automation developer for BNV NetDevOps. This individual will be helping define automation strategy and designs, perform hands on development, mentor other staff members. The team is responsible for delivering strategic automation projects on a large scale network. The role will require the engineer to be able to perform hands on coding activities alongside providing technical leadership. What will you be doing - Senior automation engineer in a team growing to 20 globally, providing expertise across multiple programming frameworks, languages and network and security products - Defining automation workflows in consultancy with network engineers. - Ownership of technical project deliveries. - Work closely with stakeholders and Product management to assist in creating and maintain the technical strategy and roadmap for Network Automation use cases - Key projects which the team owns: o Infrastructure As Code virtualised DMZ automation o Firewall ruleset automation to an estate of over 2000 firewalls o Network standardisation through automation o Multicloud deployments of NSX on premise and in public cloud - Developing the network automation framework What were looking for: - Network/Infrastructure automation using Python and preferably Ansible and workin .
