To be successful as a AVP - Senior Cyber Operations Service management Analyst, you should have experience with: Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).510 years of experience in Cyber Operations, IT Operations, Risk, Compliance, or Governance roles within a regulated enterprise environment.Strong understanding of Operational Risk and Control (ORAC) frameworks, issue management lifecycle, and audit processes.Hands-on experience in issue remediation tracking, root cause analysis, and closure documentation (closure packs/evidence packs).Proven ability to engage with internal and external auditors, including responding to audit findings and clarifications.Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (risk, audit, technology, operations) to drive issue resolution.Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, ITIL, or equivalent governance models.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced CyberOps environment with high accountability and ownership. Some other highly valued skills may include: Exposure to audit tools, GRC platforms for issue tracking and reporting.Prior experience in CyberOps governance, control assurance, or regulatory compliance programs within large enterprises or financial services.Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from risk and audit data and recommend improvements.Experience in stakeholder management at senior levels, including influencing without authority.Understanding of cybersecurity operations (SOC, incident management etc.) to contextualize audit issues effectively.Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, ITIL Foundation/Intermediate or equivalent.Experience in governance reporting, metrics/KPIs, and dashboarding for senior leadership visibility.Structured problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement and control optimization.You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills. The role is based out of Pune. Purpose of the role To monitor the performance of operational controls, implement and manage security controls and consider lessons learnt in order to protect the bank from potential cyber-attacks and respond to threats. Accountabilities Management of security monitoring systems, including intrusive prevention and detection systems, to alert, detect and block potential cyber security incidents, and provide a prompt response to restore normal operations with minimised system damage.Identification of emerging cyber security threats, attack techniques and technologies to detect/prevent incidents, and collaborate with networks and conferences to gain industry knowledge and expertise.Management and analysis of security information and event management systems to collect, correlate and analyse security logs, events and alerts/potential threats.Triage of data loss prevention alerts to identify and prevent sensitive data for being exfiltrated from the banks network.Management of cyber security incidents including remediation & driving to closure.
