As a Senior ETL Designer at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of infrastructure and deployment pipelines to drive innovation and operational excellence. You will utilize cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design end-to-end ETL architecture and data integration frameworks. - Implement data modelling, data lineage, and metadata management. - Utilize expertise in ETL tools (preferably Ab Initio, Informatica, Talend) to design scalable and reusable data pipelines. - Gain hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server, focusing on data storage concepts. Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts like dimensional modeling and star/snowflake schemas. - Strong focus on performance optimization, scalability, and fault tolerance. - Knowledge of data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes. - Proficiency in advanced level SQL for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning. The role is based out of Pune. To design, develop, and enhance software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues is the purpose of the role.
