Sr Engineer / Engineer - Production

Full time bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering or Diploma in Fabrication Technology from Sir BPTI Polytechnic, Bhavnagar with at least 3 years experience in a production shop making pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors etc. Hands on knowledge of plate rolling, edge preparation, fit up, welding (arc, tig, CO2, SAW) is mandatory. Knowledge of NDE, PWHT, hydro test etc. is optional. Must have worked with carbon steel and various grades of stainless steels. Good drawing reading skills, comprehension, numerical skills, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills are essential. Salary and position commensurate with skills and exposure. Women are encouraged to apply. Candidates from other unrelated backgrounds such as site fabrication or site construction would not qualify for this position. Shop floor experience is a must. This position is not open for general diploma holders. Diploma in Fabrication Technology from Sir BPTI is an exception.
