About the role
Role: We are looking for a full-time result-oriented Data Engineer/Scientist with 35 years of experience to join our India team of Barri Financial Group (Barri.com). The candidate should have hands on experience in designing scalable data architectures, integration and migration of data, building cloud-native data solutions on AWS, data modelling, ETL development, AWS services and a good understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning workflows. Key Responsibilities: Design enterprise data architecture, data warehouse, and OLAP/CUBE models. Lead data integration and migration activities Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation frameworks. Perform data profiling, mapping, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation. Build and maintain ML data pipelines and model deployment using AWS services/Sagemaker. Develop and manage real-time serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway. Monitor application/model health, endpoint performance, logs and scheduling of the report generation Troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize production workloads Follow version control and continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) best practices Maintain, update and create dashboards, reports in Power BI Required: Educational Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 35 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering on AWS. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience and proficiency in Programming: Python, SQL Data Engineering: Enterprise Data Architecture, Master Data Management (MDM), ETL/ELT, Data Modelling, Data Warehousing, OLAP/CUBE, Data Lakes AWS: SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) knowledge, Cloud security best practices, EventBridge SchedulerDatabases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server Data Science: ML Pipelines, Model Deployment, Basic Statistics Reporting Tool: Power BI Preferred: Machine Learning AWS DynamoDB, AWS IAM Real-time Data Processing Experience in Banking, FinTech, Payments, or Digital Risk Analytics. Desired Attributes: Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, high observation abilities and detail orientationAbility to communicate insights effectively.
