About the role
Role : Product Owner Location : Chennai Experience : 5 - 6 years Shift : 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Candidates should also be flexible to work the 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM shift based on business requirements.) Work Mode : Work From Office Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days Interview Process : Virtual Interview Role Summary : The Product owner will play a key role in bridging business requirements with technical execution. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity of requirements, supporting the development lifecycle, and enabling successful project execution through proactive communication, data validation, documentation, and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with the project team to understand business requirements in detail. - Address and clarify any doubts or questions the development team has regarding project requirements. - Ensure requirements are interpreted consistently across all stakeholders. - Work closely with the Operations/Data team to collect all data required for project execution. - Validate the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of the collected data. - Explain data insights and findings to the team in a clear and structured manner. - Prepare well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria. - Conduct user story refinement sessions with the team to ensure shared understanding and preparedness for development. - Support backlog grooming and maintain a prioritized list of requirements. - Prepare high-quality functional documentation, including requirements documents, process flows, user guides, and feature specifications. - Prepare and support the creation of technical documentation such as data flow diagrams, API requirements, integration details, and solution outlines in collaboration with technical teams. - Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for all stakeholders. - Follow up with team members to ensure tasks are progressing as planned. - Identify roadblocks or issues faced by the team and take proactive steps to mitigate them. - Escalate issues in a timely manner if they impact project timelines or delivery. - Act as a liaison between business, operations, and technical teams. - Ensure transparent communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. - Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies.
