About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior D3565 Retail Functional Consultant to join our team The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail, along with a proven track record of implementing and optimizing retail solutions This role requires a deep understanding of retail processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Key Responsibilities: Consultation Analysis: Collaborate with clients to understand their retail business processes and requirements Conduct workshops and interviews to gather and document business needs Analyse existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement Solution Design: Design and configure Dynamics 365 Retail solutions tailored to client specifications Create functional specifications and documentation to guide development and implementation teams Ensure that solutions align with industry best practices and client objectives Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Dynamics 365 Retail modules, including POS, inventory management, and supply chain management Configure and customize applications as per business requirements, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget Training Support: Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions for client teams Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance post-implementation Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and continued partnership Continuous Improvement: Stay current with updates and new features in Dynamics 365 Retail Share insights and recommendations for enhancements and upgrades with clients Participate in the development of best practices and knowledge sharing within the team Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field A masters degree is a plus Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a retail functional consultant role, with a strong focus on Dynamics 365 Proven experience in end-to-end implementation of Dynamics 365 Retail solutions In-depth knowledge of retail operations, including merchandising, sales, inventory management, and customer engagement Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail modules Proficient in SQL and data analysis Familiarity with Power BI and data visualization tools Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools Knowledge of related retail technologies, such as eCommerce platforms and ERP systems
