Product Security Engineer Summary: As part, a member of an R&D team, the Product Security Engineer works in close collaboration with the project & cybersecurity lead on assigned tasks and provides inputs to the design and testing of the new product/project. The engineer also provides guidance to software developers on their security issues, engages in design reviews, and helps resolve security issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform threat modeling, security risk assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing on various medical products and projects. Provide/Implement security guidance and best practices in the design and development lifecycle of various medical products. Prepare and document standard operating procedures and evaluate industry standards. Determines required tasks and completes them on time with no supervision Identifies and communicates potential risks with appropriate mitigations Supports other engineers on their designs, and also receives guidance from Specialists or Principal Engineer Experience: BS Degree (preferably in a technical discipline) 8+ years of engineering experience, or comparable experience 6+ years of security engineering experience Experience is preferred in/with vulnerability scanning, static code analysis, threat modeling, security risk assessments, penetration testing, cloud security (Azure), web application security, mobile device security Strong Organizational and communication skills Proficient problem-solving skills Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment Experience in the medical device industry and FDA Regulations is preferred Disclaimer : This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
