About the role
Role: Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Duration: Full Time This is a senior role with development skills. Must have strong CI/CD pipelines experience. The expected deliverables for this Role are: 1. Development and Management of CI/CD and IaC Pipelines: o Build, enhance, and maintain automated pipelines to support infrastructure deployment and maintenance for CX platforms. 2. AWS Environment Management: o Ensure stability, scalability, and compliance of AWS environments supporting the CX Cloud. 3. Automated Defect Remediation Solutions: o Deliver automated systems for defect discovery, analysis, and remediation to improve infrastructure reliability and reduce manual intervention. 4. Defect Resolution Process: o Maintain a consistent, reusable, and efficient defect remediation workflow, including updating status and documentation in Jira and CDETS. 5. Pipeline Implementation Using Specific Tools: o Create and manage GitHub Actions workflows. o Create and manage CloudBees CDRO pipelines using JavaScript and/or Groovy. 6. Reporting and Documentation: o Provide scheduled reports (weekly status, progress updates, quality reviews). o Deliver solution documentation, knowledge transfer materials, and any training related to defect remediation workflows. 7. Service Level Compliance: o Meet agreed service levels for timeliness (delivery of user stories/defects within weekly cycles) and quality (less than 10% defect rate in delivered work). The work product for this role will include: 1. Automated CI/CD and IaC Pipelines: Fully developed and operational pipelines built using GitHub Actions and CloudBees CDRO, enabling automated deployment and maintenance of infrastructure. 2. AWS Environment Configurations and Management: Documentation and configurations ensuring AWS environments are stable, scalable, and compliant with best practices. 3. Defect Remediation Solutions: Automated tools and scripts that detect, analyze, and resolve infrastructure defects, integrated with Jira and CDETS for tracking and status updates. 4. Technical Documentation: o Solution designs and architecture documents. o Defect remediation procedures. o Knowledge transfer materials and training documentation for ongoing maintenance. 5. Status Reports and Metrics: Regular (weekly/monthly) progress and performance reports detailing completed tasks, SLA adherence, defect resolution rates, and pipeline health. 6. Updated Jira/CDETS Records: Detailed logs, comments, and attachments documenting each request's lifecycle from discovery through remediation and validation. Summary: the work product is a combination of automated infrastructure tooling, operational cloud environment management, defect remediation deliverables, and comprehensive documentation and reporting to support SRE teams.
