Senior Engineer (Site Reliability Engineer)

We areseeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in software engineering and systemsadministration, with a passion for building scalable and reliable systems. Asan SRE, you will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensureour services are reliable, performant, and highly available. Key Responsibilities "Ensure the 24/7 operations and reliability ofdata services in our production GCP and on-premise Hadoop environments. Collaborate with the data engineering development teamto design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure data pipelinesand systems. Develop and implement monitoring, alerting, andincident response strategies to proactively identify and resolve issues beforethey impact production. Drive the implementation of security and reliabilitybest practices across the software development life cycle. Contribute to the development of tools and automationto streamline the management and operation of data services. Participate in on-call rotation and respond toincidents in a timely and effective manner. Continuouslyevaluate and improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of dataservices Technologyskills 4+ years of experience in sitereliability engineering or a similar role. Strong experience with Google CloudPlatform (GCP) services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and CloudStorage. Experience with on-premise Hadoopenvironments and related technologies (HDFS, Hive, Spark, etc). Proficiency in at least oneprogramming language (Python, Scala, Java, Go, etc). Required qualifications to be successful in this role. Bachelor degree in computer scienceengineering, or related field. 8 -10 years of experience as a SRE. Proven experience as an SRE, DevOpsengineer, or similar role. Strong problem-solving skills andability to work under pressure. Excellent communication andcollaboration skills.
