About the role
Key Responsibilities Strong Engineering Background: Proven experience across multiple technologies and system architectures throughout career. Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of 45 engineers ; experience in mentoring, code reviews, and project ownership. Backend Development Expertise: Proficiency in Go (Golang) and/or Java for building scalable backend systems. Database Skills: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL for schema design, optimization, and data management. Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, deployment, and monitoring. Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA , and experience implementing compliant solutions. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities; capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
