As a Custom Web Application Developer, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Developing custom web applications and third-party integration points - Researching advanced development topics and new technology for potential implementation - Building and maintaining policies and standardization for the Application Services team - Designing operational processes and guidelines for new technology programs - Benchmarking performance of internally-developed and third-party integrated systems under heavy loads - Creating and updating documentation for various systems - Clarifying design requirements from the firm's business owners - Coordinating technical efforts related to systems issues and server replacements - Devising strategic plans for issue resolution while ensuring system operation - Educating Application Support Services professionals on responsibilities and issue resolution - Facilitating project requirement meetings and serving as Secondary Support person for after-hours support - Escalating critical issues to management and implementing timely resolution strategies - Coordinating and organizing team efforts and follow-up from meetings - Formulating strategies and proposals to meet Application Services goals - Rotating support for specific applications - Performing other duties as required Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field - Three (3) or more years of experience in developing web applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC and/or MVVM design patterns - Three (3) or more years of experience with integration packages, stored procedures, and database schemas using SQL Server - Three (3) or more years of experience in developing web applications using JavaScript Libraries, TypeScript, Angular, and Restful Web API - Experience with Bootstrap, Entity Framework, .Net Core, Microservices, Azure platform - Experience developing business process workflows with Azure Logic Apps - Prior technical lead role experience on IT projects - Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills - Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment on multiple complex projects/tasks simultaneously - Capacity to produce clean code and adhere to documentation standards Please note that the job also requires certifications in Microsoft MTA/MCSD and experience with various software products like Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops, SQL Server, Power BI, and Entity Framework. Additionally, a background in other development languages and prior technical lead roles are strongly preferred. Lastly, educational qualifications include a Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields, along with additional certifications and relevant experience.
