Engineer - Mechanical (Package)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the design, selection, and engineering of Rotatory and various Packages equipment. Your role will involve working on Basic/Conceptual Engineering, FEED, EPCM, EPC modes of execution for Indian and International projects. Experience in Semiconductor facility, Battery manufacturing, and data center design and detail engineering will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Review deliverables of Process Package - Ensure quality for the deliverables/work done - Assist with project/proposal activities - Interact with Global office/Home office (abroad) and execute work on workshare mode - Support the project through construction and commissioning phases - Develop technical specifications for Equipment/Package - Review specifications from Licensor/Client/PMC - Participate in IDC process - Collaborate with Engineering disciplines, Clients/PMC, Bidders/Vendors - Design, prepare MDS/Engineering drawings, MRQs - Review Quotes, assess deviations, raise TQs, TBEs, MRPs - Review VPs - Resolve Vendor/Site queries - Interact with Inspection Agencies, Expeditors, other agencies for delivery of Equipment/Packages - Develop/assist in documentation for progress reporting - Implement/Capture Lesson Learnt - Actively pursue Value Engineering, design, and cost optimization program - Travel to support activities at other engineering offices, suppliers works, construction sites Qualification Required: - Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university with 3-11 years of relevant work experience - Basic flair for working with personnel of different nationalities - Good proficiency in spoken and written English language Additional Details: Bechtel's India offices play a vital role in supporting the execution of projects and services globally, with exciting career opportunities for those passionate about delivering impactful projects.
