About the role
Role Overview: At Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, you will play a crucial role in driving the design, development, and support of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and Global Trade Management (GTM) solutions. You will partner closely with Business Operations and Oracle EBS teams to translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions, while enhancing OTM/GTM functionality to improve transportation planning, trade compliance, and system performance. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Business Applications and will be based in India. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and solve complex technical and operational problems related to Logistics & Distribution, focusing on Oracle Transport Management (OTM) and Global Trade Management (GTM) applications. - Drive system implementations by coordinating with Business Operations teams to understand gaps and enhancements, translating operational requests into technical solutions within Oracle/OTM/GTM. - Develop agents, dashboards, and reports within OTM and GTM, including designing, creating, and testing new functions in OTM/GTM. - Work on global projects to facilitate automated trade compliance, including compliance screening, tariffs, duties, and product classifications (HTS, ECCN, EU Dual-Use, etc.). - Create detailed test plans, unit test systems, and coordinate testing with business users for unit tests, System Integration Tests (SIT), and User Acceptance Tests (UAT). - Utilize lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, 5S, Kanban, and Practical Problem Solving. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree with 4+ years of experience. - Proficiency in building and maintaining custom agents, automation scripts, and workflow logic in OTM/GTM. - Ability to troubleshoot performance via logs, integration queues, and patches, and manage OTM/GTM environments. - Experience in user story and requirements gathering, documenting, and translating into functional requirements. - Skilled in using data from OTM/GTM to drive improvements, including SQL skills for data set establishment and data visualization. - Additional experience in middleware and integration methods, project management, or working in a highly regulated industry like medical devices would be a plus.
